88-97 Grateful Things

Friday night I went to drive over the mountains. Barely outside Ellensburg, I got a flat tire. I called my dad, he called AAA and off I went. Not even to Cle Elum, I got a second flat tire. I didn't have another spare, so I could no longer continue in my car. Thankfully, my dad and brother drove over to rescue me. In the process, I found a lot to be grateful for.

    88.    Getting a compliment from a nearly three year old. Totally genuine. "So pretty. All matchy."
    89.    Knowing I can always call my dad, and he will find a way to fix things
    90.    The State Patrol. All of my previous run ins with them have been of a different nature. But I had two different State Patrols check on me to make sure I was okay on the side of the road. One of them even offered to change my tire for me!
    91.    AAA - nice to be taken care of, especially when you get two flat tires on the side of a freeway

    92.    Cell phones - being stranded really makes one appreciate being able to call and find help, as well as locate where you are if you haven't been paying attention and need a map
    93.    Friends who keep you company via text
    94.    Loved ones who volunteer to come rescue you when you can no longer drive over the mountains
    95.    Having a car to drive over the mountains with at all!
    96.    Not having to catch my flight until the afternoon
    97.    Usually having smooth trips over the the pass
